Learn About Our Nature Appreciation Events

Sharing the Beauty of Nature and History Through Our Programs

Part of the Robinson Foundation's core mission is to sponsor historical and environmental events throughout Howard County. We aim to reach a diverse audience with a variety of programs that encourage nature appreciation and environmental stewardship in local backyards and further afield.

Working with Local Groups

One way to reach a broad and receptive audience is to partner with established organizations to help them achieve shared goals. We feel honored to participate with outstanding local groups such as the Howard County Conservancy and the Howard County Legacy Leadership Institute on the Environment (HoLLIE) to sponsor events that educate and inspire people to protect wildlife, rivers, and other aspects of the natural world.

Sponsoring Events

We are also pleased to sponsor our own events and activities to highlight issues and interests connected to the Foundation's goals and values. Whether you'd enjoy seeing outstanding bird photographs, handling archaeological artifacts, or laughing with your kids at a puppet show, you'll want to check out our list of past and future programs. If you have a good idea for a future event, please let us know.

Also, please note that the Robinson Foundation and the Robinson Nature Center work together but are separate entities. If you would like information on public programs, field trips or room rentals at the Center, please contact the Nature Center at (410) 313-0400.
